Bareilly,

08 Jan (HS): There was a stir in the health system and political circles when

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak reached Bareilly on Thursday. Upon landing

at the airport at around 1.30 pm, he went straight to the Urban Primary Health

Center located at Pirbahoda in Izzatnagar area. Here he closely inspected the

OPD, medicine distribution counter and examination rooms. He interacted with

the patients and got to know the actual condition of treatment and facilities.

During the inspection, when he found deficiencies in some arrangements, the

Deputy Chief Minister expressed his displeasure and gave strict instructions to

the concerned officials. He said that providing better treatment and facilities

to the patients coming to government hospitals is the priority of the

government and any kind of negligence in this will not be tolerated.

After

inspecting the health center, the Deputy Chief Minister reached Shaktinagar

Colony on Pilibhit Bypass Road, where he visited the residence of the late

Faridpur MLA Professor Shyam Bihari Lal and met his family members. Describing

the late MLA as a symbol of simplicity and public service, he described his

death as an irreparable loss for the region. During this, he consoled the

family members and assured them of all possible support. The Deputy Chief

Minister paid tribute by laying flowers on the MLA's picture. The

administrative staff remained vigilant throughout the tour and strict security

arrangements were made.
