
Jammu, 08 January (H.S.): Three minors were among five persons injured in a stray dog attack today in Panchayat Rajpura and Kundan area of Tehsil Mandi. Two among them were shifted to District Hospital, Poonch.
Official sources said that a stray dog attacked a woman and a minor girl in Rajpura area, and two minors and one elderly man at Rajpura and Kundan area of Tehsil Mandi. All were brought to Sub District Hospital Mandi. While two minors who received injuries on face were shifted to District Hospital, Poonch.
Dr Suneer Mishri in SDH Mandi and Medical Superintendent DH Poonch, Dr Shafiq said the condition of all the five is stable. Officials identifies all injured as Gulshan Bi (40), Danish Ali (13), Amid Ali (06), Naheema (05), residents of Rajpura and Mohd Latief (45), resident of Baila village in Tehsil Mandi.
Meanwhile, locals expressed anger and said that no solid steps have been taken to control such incidents and people, especially, the children are getting injured in these stray dog attacks.
