Bhubaneswar, 18 January (H.S.) : Suspended BJD MLA Aravind Mahapatra has strongly denied all allegations levelled against him by the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), calling them completely false and baseless.
Speaking to the media, Mahapatra said that fresh accusations are being made against him every day without any evidence. He challenged the party to place all allegations on record publicly.
“Bring all the allegations written on a single sheet of paper and present them before the media. I will respond to each and every one of them,” Mahapatra stated.
He further added that he would first attempt to speak with former Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik, and only after that would he issue a detailed clarification on the matter.
“I will try to speak with Naveen Patnaik and then give my response to all the allegations,” he said.
It is worth noting that two days ago, Naveen Patnaik suspended two BJD MLAs, including Aravind Mahapatra, from the party for alleged anti-party activities.
