Mumbai, 17 Jan (HS):
The newly elected UBT Sena candidates met the party chief Uddhav Thackeray in Matoshri
on Saturday. Thackeray encouraged the candidates and criticised BJP and Shiv
Sena (Eknath Shinde). “If God wishes our dream of holding the Mayor’s post will
be realised”, he said indicating his plans to work out coalitions.
BJP considers that it succeeded in finishing Shiv
Sena. But the dream is on the paper only. Those who are attached to this soil
will keep Shiv Sena alive. BJP used various tactics and some Shiv Sena betrayed
the party. However, those having faith in the party cannot be purchased, he
said.
Thackeray credited the party workers and elected
candidates for the success in Mumbai and Marathi people in Mumbai for
supporting them. This is not the end of the fight, he said and added that with
the dedication we will against come victorious in the future..
