17 Jan (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Varanasi

on Saturday after participating in the foundation stone laying ceremony for the

Integrated Court Complex in Chandauli district. As soon as the Chief Minister

landed at the temporary helipad set up on the Police Line grounds this

afternoon, he was greeted by BJP officials, public representatives, and

administrative officers already present there.

From

the police line, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the temple of Baba

Kalbhairav. He worshipped Baba Kalbhairav, the Kotwal of Kashi, as per the

Vedic rituals. After this, he reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple for darshan

and puja. The Chief Minister performed darshan and puja in the sanctum

sanctorum of the temple. From the temple, the Chief Minister left for the

Circuit House. At the Circuit House, the Chief Minister will talk about the

controversy that has erupted regarding the ongoing reconstruction and

beautification work at Manikarnika Ghat and the statements of the opposition

parties. During this, he can also hold a meeting with the saint community. All

the public representatives including the District Magistrate and the officers

of the concerned departments will be present in the meeting.
