the sacred Khichdi of faith to Lord Gorakhnath ji after the completion of the

special puja of Gorakhnath temple at 4 am. Lakhs of devotees have come to

Gorakhnath temple.

The

Sun God is the soul of the universe: The Chief Minister stated that Makar

Sankranti is a very important festival in India's tradition of festivals and

celebrations. Indeed, the Sun God is the soul of the universe. This festival,

dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, the Father of the Universe, is

considered a favorable date for all auspicious events. From today onwards, all

auspicious events will commence in the tradition of Sanatan Dharma.

Chief

Minister Yogi said that according to astrological tradition, the Sun's solstice

is divided into 12 different parts. The transition of the Sun from one zodiac

sign to another is called Sankranti, and when the Sun transits from Sagittarius

to Capricorn, it is called Makar Sankranti. From Capricorn, Lord Surya will

remain in Uttarayan for the next six months, i.e., until Gemini. During the

time of Uttarayan, the days are longer and the nights are shorter. How

important sunlight is for vitality and how much importance the Rishi tradition

of India has given it, can be estimated through this festival.
