14 Jan (HS): Newly appointed PCB Brigadier Navneet Dagar, SM (Sena Medal),

visited the Prayagraj Cantonment area today. During his visit, he inspected the

Cantonment High School, as well as the shooting range, cricket ground, and

boxing academy. He was accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer of the

Cantonment Board, Mohammad Sameer Islam, School Coordinator Captain A.K. Sinha,

and Principal Mohammad Ansar.

During

his visit to the cantonment school, Brigadier Navneet Dagar appreciated the

school's academic system, discipline, infrastructure, and the efforts being

made for the all-round development of the students. He encouraged the students

to excel in both academics and sports.

He then inspected the shooting range, cricket ground, and boxing academy

and praised the available sports facilities, training arrangements, and the

performance of the players. He said that sports play a vital role in developing

discipline, self-confidence, and leadership qualities in young people.
