Lucknow, 11 Jan (HS): Following reports of some course
coordinators obtaining appointments under the Chief Minister's Abhyudaya Yojana
using fraudulent documents, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Social
Welfare Asim Arun has taken a tough stance. To prevent such irregularities in
the future, he has directed the issuance of clear mandates regarding
outsourcing within the Social Welfare Department. This will ensure that all
outsourcing appointments comply with established rules, standards, and
procedures.
The government order will
clarify that a thorough verification of the educational and other necessary
documents of all personnel hired through outsourcing will be mandatory. Police
verification of all employees will also be conducted. The Minister of State
also directed that the documents of outsourcing personnel currently working in
the department be completed within the next three months, to prevent any
potential irregularities.
Minister
of State Asim Arun said on Sunday that any irregularities in the Social Welfare
Department will not be tolerated. All outsourcing appointments will be
completely transparent and in accordance with the rules. Wherever
irregularities are found, strict action will be taken.
