Mumbai, 04 Aug (HS): Registrations for state-level

drama competitions to be held from November 3 have been invited by the Directorate

of Cultural Affairs. The online application can be submitted in the prescribed

format on the official website https://mahanatyaspardha.com,

between August 1 and 31.

The competitions will be held in drama in Marathi,

Hindi, and Sanskrit, and Children’s drama and Drama by Children with

Disabilities, informs the Director of Cultural Affairs Vibhishan Chawre. The

competitions will be held under the guidance of Minister for Cultural Affairs

Adv Ashish Shelar and Secretary of Cultural Affairs Dr Kiran Kulkarni.

The regional round for Children’s Plays will be held

at 10 centres in December 2025, while the finals for Marathi, Hindi, and

Sanskrit plays will be held in December.

The applications by amateur drama groups can be

submitted online via the official website.
