Saharanpur, 04 Aug

(HS): Uttar Pradesh

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Monday that the Congress and Samajwadi

Party were concerned about rising global veneration for India's Sanatan Dharma

and the country's cultural renaissance. Adityanath, speaking at a public

meeting in Saharanpur, accused the opposition of taking no pride in India's

spiritual tradition. You must have seen it at Mahakumbh. Over 66 crore devotees

from throughout the world gathered at their own expense. The entire world was

there. But Congress and the Samajwadi Party were uneasy. They were worried by

the fact that Sanatan Dharma's fame was developing so quickly, he explained. Adityanath,

who launched or laid the groundwork for 15 development projects totaling Rs 381

crore under the Smart City Mission, claimed that these parties had no emotional

connection to the country's legacy.

Their affections

do not rest with the impoverished or the youth. They do not take pride in

Indian civilization and tradition, he stated. He charged the Congress with

seeking to implicate Hindu leaders in the Malegaon bomb case. During the UPA

regime, they collaborated to falsely incriminate Hindu saints and leaders,

attempting to designate them as terrorists. He stated that this was not only a

political vengeance, but also an act of treason.

Today, all facts are becoming clear. Congress and its supporters were light on

terrorists but harsh on nationalists. It was an attempt to dismantle

nationalist groups. That was a type of terrorism against the nation, he

continued.

Adityanath further

stated that the UPA government informed the Supreme Court that Ram and Krishna

never existed. They dubbed them myths. What do you expect from those who reject

the reality of our cultural icons? The chief minister stated that Saharanpur, a

hitherto forgotten part of Uttar Pradesh, had experienced a turnaround under

the BJP's double-engine government. Previously, many left this

region owing to despondency and a lack of opportunity. However, he argued that

Saharanpur is now becoming a symbol of legacy and progress. Without identifying

it, he said the SP limited the advantages of government projects to the Yadav

family. Today, the advantages extend to every segment of society. Adityanath

promoted local manufacture and swadeshi items as part of the government's One

District, One Product campaign, while cautioning against using Chinese

products.

Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 15 development projects worth Rs 381 crore in

Saharanpur on Monday. On this occasion, while congratulating the people of

Saharanpur, he said that the double engine BJP government has started a new

chapter of development and preservation of heritage by ending the neglect of

this area. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated his government's

commitment to promote development, heritage and Swadeshi in Saharanpur. He said

that the double engine government is moving ahead at the speed of a bullet

train, not a buffalo cart.

Appreciated the

enthusiasm of Shiv devotees on the last Monday of Sawan: In his address, the

Chief Minister said that today is the last Monday of Sawan. The enthusiasm of

devotees in all Shiv temples is worth seeing. Saharanpur, being a corner of

Uttar Pradesh, was neglected earlier, but now the rays of development are

reaching here due to the efforts of the double engine government. He said that

earlier there was migration and disappointment from this area, but now a new

hope has arisen among the people of Saharanpur.

Discussion on the

development of Maa Shakumbhari University and pilgrimage sites: CM Yogi

emphasized on connecting Saharanpur with its rich heritage. He said that the

holy place of Maa Shakumbhari and the place of Mata Tripuri Bala Sundari are

the identity of this area. The construction of Maa Shakumbhari University has

been completed and its handover is in the final stage. Soon its grand inauguration

will take place. Apart from this, the plan to build Maa Shakumbhari Corridor

and elevated route was also mentioned, so that devotees can easily reach the

pilgrimage site in every season. He also talked about inaugurating the

beautification work of Jahar Veer Goga, who was a brave warrior who protected

the country from foreign invaders 900 years ago and who took samadhi here after

visiting Baba Gorakhnath, his ashram has been given a grand look.

Announcement of

free bus service on Raksha Bandhan and CM's emphasis on cleanliness: The Chief

Minister announced free bus travel for women on 8, 9 and 10 August on the

occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Also, he stressed on cleanliness and said that

cleanliness is our responsibility in this festive season. He also appealed to

organize Tiranga Yatra and national anthem on 15 August.

CM handed over

Chief Minister handed over certificates, demo cheques, keys of house and
