Hooghly, 4 August (H.S.): Gangster Bagha, arrested in connection with the murder of a Trinamool leader in Kanaipur of Uttarpara in Hooghly district, has accused the late Trinamool leader and former Pradhan of Kanaipur Panchayat Achhelal Yadav of land grabbing.

On Monday, the police of Serampore police station was taking Bagha to Serampore Sub-divisional Court. At that time, replying journalists, Bagha said that the deceased Trinamool leader Pintu Chakraborty had usurped his land. Bagha also accused the former Pradhan of Kanaipur Gram Panchayat Achhelal Yadav of land grabbing.

During an exclusive conversation with Hindusthan Samachar, former Pradhan Achhelal Yadav demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter. He said, I want a CBI inquiry into the case so that the truth of Pintu's murder is revealed of everyone. This will also make it clear whether Pintu, Bagha and I are involved in any land dealing or not.

Raising questions on the police, the former Pradhan said, The police are afraid to tell the media where the accused are. On the other hand they are getting an accused interviewed by media. How did Achhelal Yadav's name come up in the case without any context. Actually, under a conspiracy, Achhelal Yadav's name has been called by the gangster.

Achhelal Yadav further said, A deep political conspiracy is visible in the case. The matter is being diverted to another direction to save some big head.

Notably, since the year 2022, the distance between former Pradhan Achhelal Yadav and Trinamool Congress is increasing. Recently, Achhelal was seen with BJP leader Dilip Ghosh in the Rudrabhishek programme at Hindmotor.
