- Recalls the Creative Bond Between Kishore Kumar and Bhupen Hazarika

Guwahati, 04 August (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid heartfelt tribute to legendary singer Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary on Monday. Taking to social media, the Chief Minister wrote, “Today is the birth anniversary of the world-renowned singer Kishore Kumar. On this special day, I fondly remember the great artist who touched millions of hearts with his voice and left an indelible mark on the sands of time.”

Dr. Sarma further reflected on the artistic connection between Kishore Kumar and the iconic Bhupen Hazarika. “As we move forward in celebrating the birth centenary of our beloved Bhupen Da, we fondly and respectfully remember the deep creative bond shared between Sudhakantha Bhupen Hazarika and Kishore Da,” he wrote.

The Chief Minister also shared a photo of the two musical legends in a single frame, commemorating their artistic legacy and expressing his reverence for their contribution to Indian music.
