Purulia, 3 August (H.S.): Three cattle died and a part of a shop was damaged after a vehicle collided with them in front of Bada Kali temple in Raghunathpur of Purulia district. Locals said that a vehicle was going from Purulia to Barakar on Purulia-Barakar state highway on Sunday morning. Suddenly the vehicle lost control on the middle of the road and it collided with three cattle on the road and entered a food shop in front of Bada Kali temple.
On information, the police of Raghunathpur police station reached the spot. The police took the vehicle with them to the police station. Locals said that accidents often happen due to cattle roaming freely on the road. The police have taken the vehicle driver into custody and are interrogating him.
