Lucknow, 03 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief

Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya slammed the Samajwadi Party on Sunday, claiming

that the party is thriving on fraudulent votes. Speaking to reporters in

Lucknow, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that the Samajwadi Party's bicycle,

which has been powered by false votes, will soon be punctured.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister

Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party President

Akhilesh Yadav and said that SP chief considers himself the biggest leader of

Muslims. It has been his old habit that his 'opinion' must be sought on every

issue related to Muslims. But now it is surprising to know that will we have to

ask him the date and time even in the case of killing terrorists? The Deputy

Chief Minister said in Lucknow on Sunday that the SP Bahadur who called the

rioters of Muzaffarnagar by helicopter, is now talking about fixing the timing

for the terrorists. Maurya said that during the SP regime, terrorists and

rioters were given 'logistic support'. His government always provided

protection to rioters and terrorists. During the Muzaffarnagar riots, when the

state was burning, the SP government was providing helicopter service to the

rioters and calling them. It is a fact of history that at that time, except the

administration, all the arrangements were run as per the will of the SP

leaders.

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that during

the SP rule, rioters and terrorists were the eyes and ears of the government.

The government's agenda was not law and order, but appeasement and vote bank

politics. Even when action was taken against terrorists, SP leaders would raise

questions, and always calculated 'religion' and 'votes' while taking action

against rioters.

Maurya said that this is the same SP

which 'maintained silence' on terrorist attacks during its rule, but showed

outspokenness in its concern for the human rights of terrorists. The public has

now well recognized this double standard of SP Bahadur, whose party neither

stands against terrorism, nor against rioters - on the contrary, its politics

is based on these only. The Deputy Chief Minister said that under the guidance

of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh and India have now rejected the

politics of terrorism, appeasement and riots. The country is now firm on the

policy of nationalism and will defeat the double-faced politics of appeasement

group like SP at every level.
