Bijnor,

02 Aug (HS): A case has been registered against Khalid, a wealthy man who made

headlines for attacking BJP youth district president Robin Chaudhary, and his

brothers for atrocities on a Dalit. After the video of the incident went viral,

the victim's side had sought justice from the DM, after which the police

arrested Talib and Abid as soon as the report was registered.

On Friday, dozens of villagers from Sadupura village complained to the DM about

the encroachment on the road and the pond. The DM ordered the police officers

to take necessary action, after which a report was filed stating that an

attempt was made to encroach the road and the pond by connivance with the

lekhpal and when stopped, Abid threatened them at gunpoint and used casteist

slurs. On the basis of the report filed, the accused were arrested. More than

20 cases are already registered against Khalid and his brothers. Questions

are being raised on the police for giving VIP treatment to the arrested Talib

and Abid at the police station.

It is being told that GST theft worth crores of rupees has been detected

against Khalid Talib and Abid. Due to pressure from all sides and fear of

action, Khalid had booked 25 tickets to leave the country with his entire

family, seeking safe refuge in Dubai. On getting the information about this,

the police administration has also confiscated their passports.
