Jammu, 2 August (H.S.): MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta here today visited Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS), Rehari.

He was accompanied by Mandal president, Kushant Prajapati, Principal of the School, faculty and staff members.

During visit, Gupta addressed students from NCC and NSS units and distributed various essential items among the students to support their academic journey and personal development.

The MLA reiterated his commitment for the upliftment of education standards in Jammu West constituency.

He stated that efforts are underway to adopt Government schools in the region to strengthen infrastructure, increase teaching staff and ensure availability of essential facilities.

Gupta assured the school authorities and students that no stone would be left unturned in enhancing the learning environment.

Committee members of the Schools present on the occasion were Jyoti Prakash, Poonam Gupta, Arun Gupta, Kushant Prajapti, Amit Dutta, Arun Khanna, Pooja Rani, Tilak Raj Sharma, Sonia Jandiyal, Babu Raj Jandiyal, Desh Raj Bhagat, Jyoti Gupta, Payal Mahajan, Rama, Shifali, Sachin Goel, Ashwani and Sunita Sharma.

The MLA assured that monthly meetings of the School Committee will be held regularly to ensure better coordination and to address the issues related to the development and functioning of the institution.
