Bhubaneswar, 2 August (H.S.): The formation of the new Odisha BJP team will take place only after the election of the party's national president, clarified State BJP President Manmohan Samal on Saturday. Addressing media persons in Bhubaneswar, Samal stated that the organizational restructuring at the state level is linked to the party’s constitutional framework and will follow the election of the central leadership.

“This is a constitutional process within the BJP. The new state team will be formed only after the national president is elected,” said Samal, emphasizing the structured approach adopted by the party.

When asked about the timeline for the national president's election, the BJP state chief mentioned that no specific deadline has been announced yet by the central leadership.

Responding to queries regarding appointments to various state-run boards and corporations, Samal said the party would undertake internal deliberations before finalizing any names. “We will ensure that all appointments are made in line with organizational roles and responsibilities,” he added.
