PM Modi spotlighted India’s meteoric ascent in global agriculture, declaring the nation stands tall as the world’s leader in milk, pulses, and jute production, and ranks second in rice, wheat, cotton, fruits, and vegetables. The country’s agricultural exports have shattered records, soaring past ₹4 lakh crore and fueling rural growth.
Bridging Regional Divides: PM Dhanya Dhanya Krishi Yojana
Unveiling a new flagship initiative, the PM Dhanya Dhanya Krishi Yojana, the Prime Minister announced an ambitious plan to uplift the 100 most backward farming districts, aiming to eradicate long-standing regional disparities and ensure equitable prosperity for all cultivators.
Indus Water Treaty: Reclaiming India’s Rights
In a bold move,PM Modi declared the current Indus Water Treaty unjust and detrimental to Indian farmers. He pledged that India will no longer accept a one-sided arrangement and is set to reclaim its fair share of water, prioritizing national interests and the needs of its agricultural community.
