New Delhi, August 18 (HS): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Monday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his Parliament office, where the two leaders discussed key development initiatives in the state.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Yadav highlighted that a manufacturing unit for Vande Metro train coaches has already been set up in the state and that Bhopal is set to launch its first metro service soon. He also informed that Madhya Pradesh will soon host a major farmers’ convention, for which he extended a formal invitation to the Prime Minister.

Later, in a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister wrote: “Met Prime Minister @narendramodi in New Delhi today and sought his guidance. Every meeting with the Prime Minister brings fresh energy and inspiration. On this occasion, I also invited him to visit Madhya Pradesh.”

The meeting is being seen as part of Madhya Pradesh’s attempt to showcase its infrastructure and agriculture-centric initiatives, while strengthening coordination with the Centre on upcoming projects.
