New Delhi, August 14 (HS): Marking Independence Day 2025, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been bestowed with special recognition as 21 of its officers and staff have been honoured for their exemplary work in the field of investigation and law enforcement.
Of these, six officers will receive the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, while fifteen personnel have been awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
Distinguished Service Medal Awardees
The six decorated for distinguished service are:
- Vivek Priyadarshi, Deputy Inspector General, BSFB, New Delhi
- Machhindra Ramchandra Kadole, Deputy Inspector General, BSFB, Kolkata
- Ch. Venkat Narendra Deve, Additional Superintendent of Police, ACB, Hyderabad
- Bandi Peddi Raju, Additional Superintendent of Police, EO-III, New Delhi
- Vishal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Policy Division, New Delhi
- Abhijit Sen, Head Constable, EOB, Kolkata
Meritorious Service Medal Awardees
Recognised for meritorious service are:
Anoop T. Mathew, Bal Karan Singh, Subhash Chandra Sharma, Sunil Dutt, Ashok Kumar, K. Vijaya Vaishnavi, Ajay Singh Gehlaut, Dilbag Singh Jasrotia, Pawan Kumar Bhardwaj, Mohan Singh Jadaun, Arbind Garai, Chitimireddy Suryanarayana Reddy, Satish Kumar, Rambabu Yedida, and Nawal Kumar Dixit.
