9 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Wednesday launched the

Khushal Van Maha Abhiyan 2025 by planting saplings in the Army Campus near

Barabanki Railway Station. The program started on time, in which fruit-bearing,

shady and medicinal plants of various species were planted. UP Governor

Anandiben Patel said, “Tree plantation is not just a one-day task, but it is an

initiative to provide a secure future for future generations. It is the

responsibility of all of us to ensure the care of the planted saplings. During

the tree plantation program, District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi gave

information about the preparation and monitoring system of the plantation site,

while SP Arpit Vijayvargiya highlighted the importance of public participation

in environmental protection.

State

Minister Satish Sharma and MLC Angad Singh also showed their commitment towards

environmental protection by planting trees. On this occasion, posters and

slogans related to environmental awareness were also displayed by the students.

District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi, Superintendent of Police Arpit

Vijayvargiya, State Minister Satish Sharma, Legislative Council Member Angad

Singh, BJP leaders, army officers, social workers, and students of local

schools were present in the program.
