Lucknow/New

Delhi, 23 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak slammed

the Samajwadi Party (SP) and its leader Akhilesh Yadav Nawaazwadi on Wednesday,

accusing him and his party of lacking confidence in the Constitution. His remarks come after Akhilesh Yadav

reportedly met inside a mosque on Parliament Street in New Delhi. He claimed that the Indian constitution

forbids the exploitation of sacred places for political objectives. “The

Samajwadi Party chief and the Samajwadi Party consistently violate the

Constitution. According to the Indian

Constitution, sacred places may not be utilized for political objectives. They have no faith in the Constitution,” Pathak

stated, who also added, Woh hamesha Namaazwadi bane rehte hai, and

this is exactly what he is doing.”

In response, SP MP Rajeev Rai suggested that

the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) address viral recordings of its leaders. Do we

now need a BJP license to attend temples and mosques? Should we make photographs of the BJP go

viral? Rai stated that they do not

discuss videos or photos of their leaders coming in from the streets.

Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav remarked that the

BJP intends to keep people divided. He

stated that faith connects, but the governing party in the center does not want

this to occur.

Faith fosters connections. However, the BJP

seeks to keep people divided rather than unified. We believe in all faiths.... Religion is the

BJP's instrument, Yadav said to reporters.

As this occurred, BJP Minority Morcha National President Jamal Siddiqui

chastised the Samajwadi Party and its MP, Mohibullah Nadvi, for converting a

mosque into their party's headquarters.

Nadvi works as the Imam of Parliament Street Mosque.

Many

SP MPs are visible alongwith SP President.

Rampur MP Mohibullah Nadvi is also among them. Mohibullah Nadvi used to worship with the

Imam at this mosque. But he isn't ready

to quit the mosque. Today it has gone

beyond all limits! He established the

mosque as his party's headquarters. In a

statement, Siddiqui added, We strongly condemn this.

He stated that they will demand that Delhi

Minister Rekha Gupta and the Delhi Waqf Board remove Rampur MP Mohibullah Nadvi

from his position as Imam of Parliament Street mosque and take harsh action

against him. Siddiqui stated that the BJP Minority Morcha will organize a

protest against Akhilesh Yadav and his MP on July 25 after Friday prayers.
