New Delhi, July 23 (H.S.): The Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, stated on Wednesday that it is necessary to evaluate the impact of new technology on society and the labour market in this era of technology. He emphasized the need to consider the effect of technology on the lives of workers, asserting that the suffering of laborers is the suffering of society. Technology makes human nature harsh and raises questions about the dignity of hard work. It is important to reflect on all these matters. Dr. Bhagwat made these remarks during the 70th anniversary program of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, saying that BMS needs to grow. Along with bringing change to the environment of the country, it is also their responsibility to bring about changes in the environment of the world. Increased organizational prestige leads to success and greater worker respect; the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh exists to benefit workers beyond symbolism.

On this occasion, Union Minister of Labour and Employment Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya stated, Various organizations around the world have their own ways of working, but the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh is unique. It works in the labour sector based on Indian workers, Indian people, and the Indian way of life. It has developed a distinctive work style and system.

The national president of BMS, Hiranya Pandya, presided over the program and mentioned that the journey of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh started on July 23, 1955, in Bhopal. The 70th anniversary celebrations began in Bhopal and are concluding today. He noted that the role of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh is not limited to just this. Instead, it includes broader concerns for the welfare of society and the world, such as the environment, social harmony, and self-reliance among its primary goals.

Prominent leaders present at the event included Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs Harsh Malhotra, Delhi Government Ministers Kapil Mishra and Pravesh Verma, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, International Labour Organization India Director Michiko Miyamoto, co-general secretary of the Sangh Arun Kumar, and BJP National Organization Secretary B.L. Santosh, among many others.
