Golaghat (Assam), 23 July (HS): Tai Ahom Youth Student Council, Assam (TAYSC) has lodged strong protest against the use of the picture of the historic Rang Ghar of Ahom Raj as advertisement on liquor bottles by Owaisi Group, which manufactures liquor. TAYSC has lodged an FIR in this matter on Wednesday.

TAYSC has strongly condemned the use of the picture of Assam's historical monument Rang Ghar as advertisement for the sale of liquor. Along with this, the organization has appealed to the liquor company to immediately withdraw the advertisement from the liquor bottles and apologize publicly. If this does not happen, TAYSC has warned of a strong agitation.

The company has put the picture of Rang Ghar on the bottles of liquor named All Season. Angered by this, TAYSC officials have lodged the FIR in Sarupathar police station.
