Beckenham, July 16(HS): The Under-19 Test match between India and England in Beckenham ended in a dramatic draw. India set a target of 350 runs, and England scored 270 runs for 7 wickets. On the final day, India led by 229 runs with 7 wickets remaining.

Vihan Malhotra scored 63 before being caught, while quick wickets fell following a rain interruption. R.S. Ambrish contributed 53 runs, helping India reach 248 before being run out. England struggled initially, losing three quick wickets, but Hamza Shaikh (112) and Ben Mayes (51) formed a 119-run partnership. After Mayes was dismissed, Thomas Rew added 50 runs, providing hope for England's victory. However, run outs of Shaikh and Akansh Singh shifted momentum toward India. Despite losing Rew, Ralphie Albert and Jack Home batted through the final 11.5 overs to secure a draw, preventing England's defeat.
