New Delhi, 1 July (H.S.): The Indian Navy managed to control a blaze on a Palau-flagged tanker in the North Arabian Sea and secured the safety of 14 Indian crew members aboard the vessel.
The Navy sprang into action and initiated the fire-fighting effort after getting a distress signal from the ship on Sunday.
The ship reported a significant blaze in its engine room while operating about 80 nautical miles east of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
