Guwahati, 4 June (HS): In view of rising water level at railway tracks and water logging at Silchar washing pits, train services over certain sections of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) have been affected. NFR Chief Public Relations Officer Kapinjal Kishore Sharma has formed on Wednesday that

as a result, few trains have been cancelled, short terminated/originated or rescheduled. The details of the affected train services are as follows:

Cancellation of trains as Train no. 55690 Badarpur-Dullabcherra Passenger, train No. 55689 Dullabcherra – Badarpur passenger, train No. 55688 Silchar – Dullabcherra Passenger and train No. 55675 Agartala- Dharmanagar Passenger will remain cancelled on 4 June. Train No. 55687 Dullabcherra – Silchar passenger and train No. 55676 Dharmanagar– Agartala Passenger will remain cancelled on 5th June.

Short terminated/ short originated trains are Train No. 55668/55667 Bairabi – Silchar– Bairabi Express commencing journey on 04th June will be short terminated/originated at Katakhal Jn. and remain cancelled between Katakhal Jn. and Silchar. Train No. 12097/12098 Agartala - Arunachal – Agartala Express commencing journey on 04th June will be short terminated/originated at Badarpur and remain cancelled between Badarpur and Arunachal. Train No. 15616 Silchar – Guwahati Express commencing journey on 04th June will be short originated from Badarpur and will remain cancelled between Silchar and Badarpur.---------------
