Nagon (Assam), 3 June (HS): Juria police under Nagon district has arrested a notorious drug peddler while conducting a drive based on secret information. Juria police said on Tuesday that a total of 40 containers filled with heroin have been recovered from the arrested peddler.

Police has said that based on intelligence information, the police conducted the drive in East Mukunda Ati of Juria. Tafazzul Islam, a resident of East Mukunda Ati, a notorious peddler, was arrested from the spot. At present, intensive interrogation of the smuggler is going on in Juria police station.
