New Delhi, June 14 (H.S.): Minister of Ayush Prataprao Jadhav chaired the global yoga summit, Yoga Connect, held at Vigyan Bhawan on Saturday, with notable attendees including Union Ministers and renowned yoga figures. Minister Jadhav emphasized the importance of promoting yoga worldwide as we approach International Yoga Day 2025, underscoring its significance as a living heritage and a message of ‘One Earth, One Health.’ He urged all ministries to participate in spreading this ancient practice, which transcends boundaries of age, gender, and religion, reflecting this year's theme. The event opened with tributes to victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash.

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev stressed that yoga encompasses discipline of body and mind, encouraging daily practice rather than a one-off event. He advocated for widespread integration of yoga into everyday life, emphasizing commitment to health and balance. Dr. Hansaji Yogendra described yoga as a holistic approach that requires awareness and intellect, stating it should be an integral part of life, embodying balance and harmony.
