Bhubaneswar, 13 June (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced a hike in the daily call-up allowance for Home Guards across the state. As per the decision, the allowance has been increased from ₹612 to ₹623 per day.
The Chief Minister’s Office confirmed the development, stating that the revised allowance will be implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2025.
This decision is expected to benefit thousands of Home Guards who play a crucial role in maintaining law and order in the state. The move reflects the state government's commitment to acknowledging the dedication and service of Home Guards in ensuring public safety.
