New Delhi, June 13 (HS): The Vasant Kunj South police arrested Kulsum Begum, a 23-year-old Bangladeshi infiltrator, and sent her to a deportation center. She illegally entered India from Jamril Danga village via forest routes. Since December 2024, 145 Bangladeshi infiltrators have been arrested as part of a strict action initiative against illegal immigration, guided by a 'zero tolerance policy' from DCP Amit Goyal. Following her arrest, Kulsum was presented to the Foreign Regional Registration Office for deportation. The police conducted a door-to-door verification beginning June 11, 2025, leading to her apprehension. Kulsum admitted to entering India without valid documents. The campaign against illegal immigrants will continue, as emphasized by the southwest district police's ongoing efforts.
