Amravati, 12 June (HS): The schools in the Vidarbha region will open on June

23. The academic session 2025-2026 will end on April 30 and will close after

the flag hoisting on May 1 for summer vacations.

The Zilla Parishad Secondary Education Department has planned the

academic session, with classes in the morning from June 23 to 25, and the day

session will begin from June 26. The first session will be held from June 23 to

October 16, followed by the Diwali vacations from October 17 to 30. The second

session will be conducted from October 31 to April 30, 2026.

The heads of the schools will have to be informed about the additional adjustments to holidays for religious festivals. Those who wish to reduce

Diwali vacations and adjust them against Ganesh or Christmas festivals will

have to inform the Education Officer in advance.

Changes in the schedule may be required during municipal or self-government institutions' elections.
