Nagon (Assam), June (HS): A cyclist killed on the spot in a horrific road accident at Nagon-Uriyagaon bypass intersection. According to information received on Friday, an oil tanker hit the cyclist, causing his death on the spot.

The deceased has been identified as Tarun Gayak, a resident of the Maj area of Uriyagaon. He was working as a night watchman in a private company. After the accident, a situation of chaos arose in the area.

The police reached the spot and took possession of the body and started necessary action. Local people have demanded strict action against the tanker driver.
