Mumbai, 11 June (HS): The International Fishery Tech

Expo 2025 will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Hall on June 12 and 13. The

exhibition is dedicated to Indian Fishery Technology and Modernisation.

Minister for Ports Development Nitesh Rane will

inaugurate the exhibition. Joint Secretary of the Fisheries Department, Sagar Mehra

will be the guest of honour.

Besides fish farming, seafood processing, cold

storage, automation packaging, cleanliness, AI Standards, logistics, and related

issues will be discussed and displayed.

The Union Government has provided Rs 2703 crore for

the field in the annual budget of 2025-2026, for using modern technology ti

improve the business. Fish farming has rightly been called the ‘Sunrise Sector’

with the modernisation.
