New Delhi, June 10(HS): External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has clarified the approach towards terrorism and said that India will take action against terrorists, wherever they are. We don't care where they are, he said in an interview to a French newspaper. If they are inside Pakistan, we will go there too.
In an interview to French newspaper Le Figaro, Jaishankar said the effectiveness of India's military operations, especially the success of Operation Sindoor, is evidenced by the damage inflicted on Pakistani airbases. To a question on the loss of Indian aircraft, he said the true measure of success is the destruction of the enemy's capabilities. He also said that terrorism should not be seen only as a bilateral conflict between India and Pakistan but should be treated as a global issue.
Referring to China's close ties with Pakistan, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said China cannot afford ambiguity or double standards in dealing with terrorism. Terrorism is a problem that affects all countries. China and Pakistan have enjoyed close ties for decades, but ambiguity or double standards cannot prevail on an issue like terrorism.
