New Delhi, June 10 (H.S.): BJP National Secretary Tarun Chugh sharply attacked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government on Tuesday, stating that Punjab is being driven towards economic destitution for political gains.
Speaking to the media at the party headquarters, Chugh said that Chief Minister Mann is wasting the state’s treasury on corrupt leaders like Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, rather than focusing on the common people of Punjab. He mentioned that funds from Punjab’s treasury are being spent on AAP’s publicity. He accused Chief Minister Mann and his entire government of becoming puppets in Kejriwal's hands, adding that a person like Kejriwal, who is on bail in a corruption case, has no right to decide Punjab's future.
Under the AAP government's rule, the influence of gangsters, land mafias, and liquor mafias has increased, and the economic and security situation in Punjab is deteriorating day by day.
