Srinagar, 31 May (H.S.): Former MLC and Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust, Vikramaditya Singh, along with his wife Chitrangada Singh, visited the Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tula Mula in Ganderbal to review arrangements for the upcoming Annual Mela.
The couple was warmly welcomed by the Trust President, Dr P S Pathania, and temple priests amid Vedic chants.
They offered prayers at the sacred shrine and prayed for peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
After performing puja, Vikramaditya Singh chaired a review meeting with Trust officials to assess ongoing preparations.
He checked arrangements related to security, sanitation, water, electricity, accommodation, and medical support for the visiting devotees.
He stressed on maintaining cleanliness, putting up proper signage, and providing round-the-clock help to ensure a smooth experience for pilgrims.
He also directed staff to work in coordination and make all necessary facilities available.
Later, the Trustee toured the temple premises and interacted with staff and caretakers.
He reaffirmed the Trust’s commitment to preserving the cultural and religious heritage of the region and ensuring a peaceful and devotional atmosphere for all pilgrims attending the Mela.
