Guwahati, 31 May (HS): Assam Police is taking a very tough stand on the charges of posting inflammatory posts on social media amid the war-like atmosphere between India and Pakistan. Taking action against Pakistan supporters in this episode, the police have arrested a total of 79 people from different parts of the state and sent them to jail.
Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has shared a post on social media and said that the drive of Assam Police is going on against traitors like sympathizing and supporting the enemy country.
In this episode, Darang Police has arrested Farizul Haq from the district headquarters town Mangaldoi. Police is interrogating the accused. So far the police has arrested a total of 79 people in this case. -------------------
