New Delhi, May 30(HS): Prime Minister Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh to celebrate the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar on May 31. He will attend the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Mahila Sashaktikaran Mahasammelan in Bhopal at 11:15 AM, where he will launch several development projects and address the public. A commemorative postage stamp and a special Rs 300 coin featuring Ahilyabai Holkar will be released. Additionally, he will present the National Devi Ahilyabai Award to a woman artist recognizing her contributions to tribal, folk, and traditional arts.
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for ghat construction works costing over Rs 860 crore on the Kshipra River for the Simhastha Mahakumbh 2028 in Ujjain, including infrastructure to manage river water flow. He will inaugurate Datia and Satna airports to enhance connectivity in the Vindhya region, and passenger services on the Yellow Line of Indore Metro to improve travel. Lastly, he will transfer funds for building 1,271 Atal Gram Sushasan Bhawans to enhance administrative efficiency in gram panchayats.
