New Delhi, May 30 (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized Bihar's development and previous government policies during a rally in Karakat, emphasizing the current government's strong stance against terrorism and Naxalism. He asserted that India's fight against terrorism remains unwavering, vowing to eliminate any resurgence. Modi highlighted the positive changes in Naxal-affected areas, noting the emergence of infrastructure such as roads and hospitals where violence once prevailed. He argued for a developed Bihar as essential for a developed India, pointing out the decrease in Naxal-affected districts from 125 to 18 since the NDA government took power in 2014.
PM Modi condemned opposition parties for neglecting the basic needs of marginalized communities, accusing them of engaging in vote-bank politics while the NDA has provided necessary facilities. He announced the completion of a new terminal at Patna Airport, projected to serve one crore passengers yearly, and a ₹1,400 crore investment in Bihta Airport, alongside initiatives like the establishment of a Makhana board for Bihar's farmers.
