Delhi, 30 May (H.S.): The Holy Relics of Lord Buddha will return to India on 2nd June , via Indian Air Force, after a month-long exhibition in Vietnam, which drew significant spiritual interest. Arriving in Delhi at 10:00 PM, they will be received at Palam Air Force Station by officials, including Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, the Governor of Odisha, and senior Indian monks from the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC).

Initially set to conclude on 21st May, the exposition was extended due to popular demand, attracting over 15 million devotees across nine cities. Post-arrival, the relics will be exhibited at the National Museum on 3rd June, followed by a formal prayer meeting. On 4th June, they will proceed to Sarnath, via Varanasi, in a Presidential cavalcade, where they will be enshrined at Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, marking a significant moment in the preservation of Buddha's message of peace and compassion.
