New Delhi, May 28 (HS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested CRPF soldier Moti Ram Jat in Delhi on espionage charges for allegedly sharing sensitive information with Pakistani intelligence. Investigations revealed his active involvement in these activities since 2023, including transmitting national security details to Pakistan and receiving payments in return. The NIA has taken Jat into custody and is interrogating him. A special court has remanded him until June 6, while the agency investigates potential collaborators and possible larger networks involved.
