New Delhi, May 27 (H.S.): The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of 21 judges from various High Courts as part of a major reshuffle. The Collegium has also recommended the appointment of Chief Justices for five High Courts.
The Collegium has recommended the transfer of Justice Sujoy Paul from the Telangana High Court to the Calcutta High Court, Justice V. Kameshwar Rao from the Karnataka High Court to the Delhi High Court, Justice Lanusungkum Jamir from the Guwahati High Court to the Calcutta High Court, Justice Manas Ranjan Pathak from the Guwahati High Court to the Odisha High Court, Justice Nitin Vasudev Sambre from the Bombay High Court to the Delhi High Court, Justice Ashwini Kumar Mishra from the Allahabad High Court to the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Suman Shyam from the Guwahati High Court to the Bombay High Court, Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to the Rajasthan High Court, and Justice Vivek Chaudhary from the Allahabad High Court to the Delhi High Court.
Similarly, Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh from the Kerala High Court has been recommended for transfer to the Karnataka High Court, Justice Vivek Kumar Singh from the Madras High Court to the Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Battu Devanand from the Madras High Court to the Andhra Pradesh High Court, Justice Omprakash Shukla from the Allahabad High Court to the Delhi High Court, Justice Shri Chandrashekhar from the Rajasthan High Court to the Bombay High Court, Justice Sudhir Singh from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to the Patna High Court, Justice Anil Kshetrapal from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to the Delhi High Court, Justice Arun Kumar Monga from the Rajasthan High Court to the Delhi High Court, Justice Jayant Banerjee from the Allahabad High Court to the Karnataka High Court, Justice C. Sumanlatha from the Karnataka High Court to the Telangana High Court, Justice Lalita Kanneganti from the Karnataka High Court to the Telangana High Court, and Justice Anni Reddy Abhishek Reddy from the Patna High Court to the Telangana High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva from the Madhya Pradesh High Court as the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Vibhu Bakhru from the Delhi High Court as the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court, Justice Ashutosh Kumar from the Patna High Court as the Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court, Justice Vipul Manubhai Pancholi from the Patna High Court as the Chief Justice of Patna High Court, and Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan from the Himachal Pradesh High Court as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court.
