Bhopal, May 27 (HS): India's cleanest city, Indore, is set to enter a new era. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate passenger services on the Indore Metro's Super Priority Corridor from Bhopal on Saturday, May 31, 2025. This is part of the Yellow Line's Super Priority Corridor, spanning approximately 6 kilometers. It currently has a total of five stations: Gandhi Nagar Station, Super Corridor 6th Station, Super Corridor 5th Station, Super Corridor 4th Station, and Super Corridor 3rd Station. This corridor is expected to reduce traffic and pollution while providing passengers with a comfortable journey. The Super Priority Corridor is not only technically important but also symbolizes Indore's progression towards modernity.
Metro Project in Indore measuring 31.32 km - Public Relations Officer Mukesh Modi reported on Tuesday that the total length of the metro project in Indore is 31.32 kilometers. The project features 22.62 kilometers of elevated metro and 8.7 kilometers of underground metro. The Yellow Line will encompass 28 stations, making urban travel easier, faster, and more environmentally friendly. The total cost of the 31.32-kilometer project is approximately 7,500 crores. The inauguration of the initial 6-kilometer corridor, which costs around 1,520 crores, marks a significant step towards transforming Indore into a modern and environmentally friendly city.
