Delhi, 27 May (H.S.): Rajnath Singh has approved the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) Programme Execution Model to boost India’s indigenous defence and aerospace capabilities. The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) will execute the programme through partnerships with private and public sectors on a competitive basis, allowing independent bids or joint ventures. Bidders must be Indian companies compliant with national laws. This initiative aims to leverage local expertise to develop the AMCA prototype, marking a significant step towards Aatmanirbharta in aerospace. An Expression of Interest (EoI) will be issued soon by the ADA.
