New Delhi, May 26 (H.S.): The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the names of three High Court judges for appointment as Supreme Court judges. This decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Chief Justice B.R. Gavai on Monday.

The Collegium has recommended the appointment of Chief Justice N.V. Anjaria of the Karnataka High Court, Chief Justice Vijay Bishnoi of the Gauhati High Court, and Justice A.S. Chandurkar of the Bombay High Court as Supreme Court judges. Currently, three positions are vacant among the approved 34 judges in the Supreme Court.
