On June 15, 2023, the Delhi Police submitted the closure report in Patiala House Court, giving clean chit to BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh. The complainant in this case was a minor at the time of filing the complaint. The minor female wrestler expressed satisfaction with the Delhi Police investigation during an in-camera hearing in court on August 1, 2023, and did not oppose the Delhi Police's closure report. The court then reserved its decision on August 1, 2023, but due to the transfer of the judge, the closure report is being re-heard.
