Delhi, 26 May (H.S.): The All-Party Parliamentary Delegation, led by MP Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jha, kicked off their activities concerning Operation Sindoor with a briefing from Amit Kumar, Ambassador of India to ROK. The Ambassador outlined a Korea-specific approach for scheduled engagements, emphasizing India’s zero tolerance for terrorism.
The delegation engaged with the Indian community in ROK, discussing Pakistan’s role in the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. They underscored Pakistan’s intent to disrupt social harmony in India and articulated that India’s responses were measured, targeted, and responsible, adhering to a principled stance against terrorism and asserting that dialogue cannot exist alongside terror.
Further interactions were held with notable Korean officials, including former Foreign Ministers and ambassadors, where the delegation informed them about the Pahalgam attack and India’s calculated actions in response. They advocated for corrective measures in international spaces like FATF and reaffirmed India's commitment to decisive retaliation against terrorism, asserting that there can be no separation between terrorists and their sponsors. The Korean officials expressed strong opposition to terrorism and demonstrated understanding of India’s position.
Tomorrow, the delegation will meet ROK officials, National Assembly dignitaries, and think-tank representatives, followed by a media interaction.
