Guwahati, 27 February (HS): Guwahati police has got a big success in two separate cases. Sonapur police arrested an teer mafia, while Basistha police nabbed a habitual thief.

In the first case, an teer mafia was arrested. Police said on Thursday that the Sonapur police conducted a drive and arrested the teer mafia named Nazrul Ali (38). Police is interrogating the accused and investigation is going on in the case.

In the second case, a habitual thief was caught.

Based on secret information, Basistha police arrested the habitual thief named Mrinal Ali (19). Stolen goods have been recovered and seized from the accused.

Police is taking further legal action in both the cases.
