Latehar, 26 February (HS): Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Manjhi's car crashed on NH 39 near Hotwag village of Sadar police station area on Wednesday early morning. In this accident, the Rajya Sabha MP has suffered a serious injury in her hand. After primary treatment in Latehar, she has been referred to Ranchi for better treatment.

After receiving information about the incident, Latehar police station in-charge Dulad Chaudhary immediately reached the spot and took her to Sadar Hospital with the help of an ambulance. Where after primary treatment by doctors, she was referred to RIMS.

However, according to doctors, the MP's condition is out of danger. Meanwhile, after the incident, the police is investigating the entire matter. According to the information received, Mahua Manjhi, her son Sombit Manjhi, daughter-in-law Kriti Srivastava Manjhi and driver Bhupendra Baski were injured in this accident. At the time of the incident, the MP's family was returning after bathing in Maha Kumbh, and their car collided with a truck parked at the spot. It is being told that his son was driving the car. He admiited to feeling drowsy.During this time, , the car collided with a stationary truck. The car was badly damaged in this accident.

According to the information received, MP Mahua Manjhi's hand has been fractured. The police reached the spot and took immediate action and sent all the injured to Latehar Sadar Hospital through 108 ambulance. There the doctors did first aid and then referred everyone to Ranchi's Orchid Hospital for better treatment. At present, everyone's condition is said to be out of danger.
